Murdoch’s fourth year Animal Science first-class honours student in 2009, Amy Lealiifano, has discovered that ‘boar taint’, an objectionable odour and flavour that sometimes occurs from cooking pork from male pigs, can be controlled using a strategic vaccination schedule.
