The most recent data from the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre shows that Murdoch University has increased both total applications and its market share of first preference applications to undergraduate courses for Western Australian state universities since 2014.

Two recipients from the Kwinana area have been chosen to receive the 2015 Waste Stream Management Scholarships worth $5000 a year over the length of a three or four year degree. With about one third less students graduating this year from high school due to the “half-cohort” all universities were expecting a drop in enrolments however Murdoch University’s results, at this early stage, were better than forecast.
