Five stars: Murdoch University rated top for starting salaries in the 2018 Good Universities Guide.

Murdoch University received a five-star rating for starting salary in seven fields of study, including nursing, psychology and teaching, according to the 2018 Good Universities Guide. The University was also best in Australia for humanities, culture and social sciences.

Vice Chancellor Professor Eeva Leinonen welcomed the results of the latest guide that indicated employers valued the high quality of Murdoch graduates.

“Murdoch combines quality teaching and a focus on innovative thinking with real-world learning experiences so our students are supported to be graduate career-ready,” Professor Leinonen said.

“Our leading academics maintain strong links with industry and government to ensure students are taught the skills that will help them make a difference.”

In addition to the starting salary news, Murdoch was rated best in the country for learner engagement in veterinary science.

The University also rated well for teaching quality, student support, learning resources, skills development, teaching quality and educational experience.
